Matt Voorhees

 — Executive Director

Matt Vorhees “My life was changed by Teen Challenge and I want to do everything I can to offer that same opportunity for change to those who want it.” Matt Voorhees has been a part of Teen Challenge since June 5, 2000, when he entered the program as a student. He graduated the program on September 12, 2001 and has been working full time for the ministry ever since. Matt holds a BA in Psychology and is an ordained pastor. Matt has served as the Executive Director of North Dakota Teen Challenge since September, 2008.


Debra Cheney

 — Director of Programming

Deb Cheney Deb Cheney oversees both the Men’s and Women’s Programs for NDTC. The best part of her job is having the privilege of seeing lives dramatically changed and families restored. Prior to her position as Program Director, Deb Cheney served from 2006-2008 as the Women’s Program Director for NDTC. Deb helped establish the Women’s Program and has witnessed women from all walks of life set free from addiction to pursue healthy, fulfilling lives.

Deb received her BA in Theology and Cross Cultural Communication. She served as a missionary in Europe, including France and Albania, for 18 years. She is also a graduate of Minnesota Teen Challenge.

North Dakota Teen Challenge is a faith-based residential recovery program for people battling with drug and alcohol addiction. Adults, ages 18 and over, from every ethnic, socio-economic, and religious background are welcomed with open arms as they embark on their new life.
