2025 GHD "DO OVER" Memorial Golf Classic

(Date is Tentative)

The Gary H. Deitrich Memorial Golf Classic

Join us for a day of golf, laughter, and legacy at the Gary H. Deitrich Memorial Golf Classic—a fundraiser hosted by Gary’s family and friends in his memory, benefiting North Dakota Adult & Teen Challenge.

This 4-person, 18-hole scramble is open to all skill levels. True to Gary’s spirit, 1–18 mulligan shots may be purchased—because Gary was known to give himself a “do-over” whenever he felt it was needed. 😊

Gary’s family chose NDATC as the benefactor of this event in honor of his passion for helping those struggling with addiction and other life-controlling issues through the transformative work of Teen Challenge.

🏌️‍♂️ Sponsorship opportunities are available and include:

  • One or two teams of 4 golfers

  • Business recognition on our social media (Facebook & Instagram)

  • Promotion on our website

**NDATC is a faith based, non-profit, 501(c)(3), 12-to-18-month residential drug and alcohol program. NDATC is completely funded by private donations and receives no state or federal funding. The cost for one student to get the help they need at NDATC is $4,000/month, yet not one perspective student is turned away for the inability to pay. It is requested that each student pay $500/month however, 100% of current students do not pay anything for the housing, curriculum, spiritual, emotional, physical help, counseling, 3 meals/day, clothing, heat, electricity, transportation… *The national Teen Challenge success rate for graduates of the program, with participants starting after completing 5 years sobriety, is averaged at 78%. That is a huge success compared to other 30, 60 and 90 day programs.

North American Fishing Challenge (Copy)

Adult and Teen Challenge centers across the US and Canada have come together to create an international app-based fishing tournament to benefit fourteen centers with this second annual event. Fashioned after a very successful fishing tournament in Minnesota, the North American Fishing Challenge will be held on June 17, 2023, and anglers across the U.S. and Canada can fish in their local fishing hole and designate which center will benefit from their fundraising. Five divisions will be included in the tournament: walleye, bass, pike/muskie, trout/salmon, and panfish (bluegills, crappies, perch, rock bass, and other sunfish). Tournament division will be chosen by the angler prior to the tournament when registering with the online app.

Tournament Director, Bernie Barringer, knows that catching fish during a tournament is important, but he also knows that those who participate in the North American Fishing Challenge are not just interested in fish. They want to save lives of those who are facing alcohol and drug addictions through the highly-ranked services of Adult & Teen Challenge. Through sponsorships and donations from businesses and individuals, this tournament has the potential to raise more than $300,000 this second year!

Thousands of dollars in prizes will be awarded, and a special fundraising prize of a Lund boat with a full electronic package from Minn Kota and Humminbird will be won by one team in the tournament.

All ages and skill levels of anglers from across the U.S. and Canada are welcome!
